With Sean Connolly running for governor, I am optimistic about the success of our state. I served in the Army with Sean, and have known him for more than 20 years. Sean is the perfect candidate to return Connecticut to prosperity.
Growing up in East Hartford, Sean learned hard work, service and integrity from his parents. The dreams Sean had as a child are slipping away for Connecticut’s children. Sean can bring those dreams alive again.
Following active duty, Sean worked at a prestigious law firm in Washington, D.C., and then in the general counsel’s office at Pratt and Whitney. Sean continued serving in the Army Reserve. Later, when he saw Connecticut veterans facing challenges, Sean left a lucrative position as the global ethics and compliance officer at Pratt and Whitney to become the state commissioner of veterans affairs.
Now, when taxes make it difficult for property owners and businesses, and when our college graduates are leaving Connecticut, we have a candidate who understands the challenges and can provide the leadership we need to solve them.
